MICE! ew ew ew ew!!!
That's right... those disgusting little rodents have invaded my home once again... Gross!!
Our landlord got us this "high frequency" thingy ma bob.
We thought it was working... we were wrong. =/
We hadn't seen any signs of the rascals for a couple weeks but kept the mouse traps out just in case. Last night I received a text from roomie A informing me that she found a dead mouse in the drawer... seriously!?!?
Thankfully I have this guy that kinda likes me and is willing to brave furry rodents for me. ;)
When my man and I made it back to my house later that evening we investigated the remaining traps
(He was gonna get rid of the intruder when he dropped me off at home but she had already taken care of IT earlier that evening, she is a better woman than I!)
Guess what we found around the other traps... mouse droppings... and the sneaks had eaten all the peanut butter from around the cereal piece, WITHOUT setting off the trap! They are getting to be too smart!!
This time we hot glued candies to the traps with a little dab of peanut butter on top, hopefully these will will work better.
The terrible part is we've told our landlord multiple times about this problem and they seem to just brush it off. I'm not sure if they don't believe us (cause we can start leaving all the mouse corpses on their front step if they want proof. I'm serious!) or if they are just lazy but it's really ridiculous. Once it gets colder out I'm sure we'll have a whole party under our sink and in our drawers... oh joy...
I've been told my countless people to get a cat. I am NOT a cat person, not one bit!
I've thought about putting rat poison out so they will take it back to their nest and killem all off. But then I'm afraid it will crawl in our walls and croak... or worse, in the middle of the kitchen floor! EEK!
any suggestions people? cause I'm ready to pack up my things and make a run for it!
I really hate mice!!
