a quick hello

No, I've not forgotten about this blog just been keepin busy!  Doing what I haven't the foggiest but every night I've been falling into bed totally exhausted.  If I ever get married and have kids I have no idea how I'll survive. ;) Seriously, those moms that work full time and have little children... how do they do it?  Speaking of moms I have   a whole new respect for my sister, she is an amazing mommy to two little munchkins.

She was singing in choir for our church Good Friday service and she had to be there by 5:15. Since I live right across the street from church I skeedaddled home from work (her hubby didn't get off til a little after 5) so I could watch her crazy boys and then it was my responsibility to get them three block to church in time.  First getting ready, or trying to get ready, with a 3 1/2 and almost 2 yr old running around my house, getting into everything (no, my house is not little boy proofed), not an easy feat!  Then I'm thinking, well it only takes me 3 min to get to church, I'll allow 15 min. We walked out my door at 20 til to get in the car and drive 3 blocks... we pulled into the church parking lot at 2 til... someone please tell me what took us so long to travel such a short distance?? The phenomenon that is little boys...
As crazy as those two are you can't help but love em.  I mean look at those cheeks!

makes you just want to scoop them up and who cares how late they make you, right? =)

Oh, on another note.  The upside to being single, you can take off on a trip whenever you darn well please (assuming you have an amazing boss like mine who lets you take off almost whenever you please)
Me and my roommates will be heading to Florida!! Sunny Florida! yaaaaah!

I plan on much sun bathing and swimming in the clear blue ocean!  I've never been in the ocean before so this is going to be grand, I'm sure of it.  And the weather looks like it's going to be in the 90s while we are there. aaaaah, sooo nice!  Now to pack my bag and be up in time for our 6am flight out of Omaha! (I am NOT a morning person!)
