So when I started this blog I had the best intentions. I was going to show all those blogging friends of mine how easy it is to stay current and up to date, even posting every other day... and I was oh so wrong. It seems some how or another time just gets away from you and before you realize, it's July and you haven't posted anything for two months. Not that I have hundreds of readers waiting on my next words. Heck I barely have three readers. But that is ok by me. This is mainly a place for me to spew my thoughts onto the page in order to better sort things out in my head. =) It seems when everything is down in written form it's somehow easier to sort things out and discover solutions to life's unsolvable problems.
So what has been new of late to me? Well not much really. I'm thouroughly enjoying going to the farmers market every saturday. It's a collection of local vendors in Lincolns Haymarket. So far there hasn't been much for produce but I'm hoping by tomorrow there will be more than crafty booths and pastry's available for sale. Not that I haven't partaken in a few of the pastries, I have enjoyed them immensley! But I'm lookin forward to the fresh crisp veggies straight out of the garden. YUM!
Lets see... what else...
Oh I've been wakeboarding!!! Yes, only a handful of times so far but I'm hoping that will change soon! We haven't had perfect conditions yet but when you live in NE you just kinda have to take what you can get. =) On tues night I went out with the fam and had one nice long run (after some tubing action earlier in the evening) and then was completely pooped. My abs and neck have been aching something terrible the past couple days, I'd forgotten how much of a workout wakeboarding is. But I LOVE it!
So the 4th of July is this weekend. I absolutely LOVE that holiday. It's so laid back and just exciting and fun. Plus I always enjoy watching the "older boys" play with their fireworks. I think it's almost more entertaining than the actual explosion, their reaction that is.
Well I've managed one short little blip of life entered onto my blog... and now I must get back to real life.
Happy Independence Day to you all!
